Hi! I'm Adriana the Carpenter
After many years working for others in the footwear industry, I decided to return to my origins, to rediscover who I am and what I have always dreamed of doing: Creating non-stop.
I am a sculptor and I found in jewelry the discipline that united all the knowledge of art, crafts, design and manufacturing that I have learned over the years.
La Carpintera is a free space where I can express myself and create pieces so that the people who wear them feel closer to their most authentic version.
From the very beginning, I've made sure that everything I create is comfortable, fits well, and adapts to your body, not the other way around. And I never forget about beauty—that when you put it on, you feel more radiant, happy, light, and free!
I always work with sustainable materials, sourced from national suppliers or those as close as possible. And I apply this philosophy from beginning to end, from the materials used for the jewelry and accessories to the packaging boxes and shipping envelopes—everything is recyclable, reusable, or biodegradable.
I want to leave a mark on you, not on the planet!
A little bit of history
I grew up in a village in Teruel called Ojos Negros. It was very cold, and the landscape was spectacular. My grandparents were artisans; they lived in Daroca. My grandfather was a carpenter, and my grandmother was a seamstress. I grew up surrounded by sawdust and scraps of fabric. We granddaughters were nicknamed "the Carpenters," and that's where the name of my brand came from—as a tribute to my roots and everything I learned from my grandparents.
I studied Fine Arts, I'm a sculptor, and for years I've worked for others with 3D technology, modeling, designing, and developing products and prototypes. That's how I discovered 3D printing, and I fell in love with it. Today, I have several machines in my workshop, and I love the freedom it gives me to imagine, design, and then have that new piece in my hands in no time.
I create handcrafted products in limited editions, and the designs are exclusive. I use sustainable materials like PLA filament, a biomaterial made from corn. I also use hypoallergenic metals such as silver, brass, and steel.
I like to listen to my clients to find out what they need, adapting to their wishes.
I work towards zero waste and minimizing our environmental impact. I want to be there for you at your special events and in your everyday life. I want you to be able to find your style and show it to the world, instead of following fleeting trends that turn us into copies of each other.
My inspiration comes from many places: the flowers of the Mediterranean, where I live now; architecture; nature; art; and countless other things. Anything I see can be the start of a new collection.
I make all my jewelry with great care in my workshop in Elche, by hand and one by one.
No factories or mass production here: each piece is born locally, with love and with the desire that you feel great when you wear it.
